Project Fedra

Project

FEDRA aims at improving the quality of fertility awareness and responsible parenting training programs.

This means: enhancing the quality of training programs and materials, making fertility awareness training programs more attractive and effective and finally making the activity of fertility awareness trainers more attractive.

FEDRA wants to achieve these objectives in the following ways:

Developing a high quality trainers training program template that all training providers could follow to prepare their programs. This template will be compliant with IEEF accreditation regulations. The TTPT will be released as a manual available in all partner languages.

Developing sample fertility awareness training programs suitable to different target groups, that can be used to implement programs in different European countries. Programs will be released as small handbooks focusing each on a specific target group, and will be available in all partner languages. Considered target groups will be young couples before marriage/living together, stable or married couples, teenagers, migrants, etc.

Designing and developing standard reference training materials as well as exploiting digital technologies. Training materials will be available for trainers training programs, related to goal 1, and the different fertility awareness programs.

Reinforcing and extending the European network of organizations active in adult education in fertility awareness and responsible parenting through dissemination and valorisation activities, starting from the extended IEEF network. For this purpose, key associated partners will attend some project meetings.
